Is a small private counseling group located on the corner of West Church Street and Mattis Avenue in Champaign, IL. The group was founded by Sarah Olson, LCSW, in 2016. The counseling staff is comprised of six therapists (and growing) whose knowledge, experience, and education cover a wide area of mental health issues. The group welcomes all ages: from small children to the elderly. A potential client can ask specifically for a counselor, or be assigned a counselor according to the issue(s) for which he/she/they wish to be seen.
Counselors are trained in various forms of therapies and see clients that are dealing with a myriad of mental health issues. Counselors can provide support, problem-solving skills, and enhanced coping strategies for issues such as depression, anxiety, relationship troubles, unresolved childhood issues, grief, stress management, and reproductive mental health. Many people find therapy to be a tremendous asset in managing personal growth, interpersonal relationships, family concerns, marriage issues, and the stress of everyday life. The benefits a person can obtain from therapy depends on how well he/she/they use the process and puts into practice what he/she/they learn(s).
It is possible to have a better life. You don't have to continue suffering.
Champaign Counseling accepts most insurances. The group does not accept Medicaid/Public Aid Card. The group does offer discounted services for people who have to pay privately and have a financial need. All these questions can be confidentially addressed by Champaign Counseling's office manager. We do our best to meet the mental health and financial needs of potential clients. Referrals are welcome and appreciated.
