Hi, I’m Gabby.

Making the choice to ask for help can feel scary, and deciding to confront painful life experiences can be even more intimidating. I understand that initially therapy can feel awkward and the idea of sharing personal details with a stranger can feel uncomfortable, and building a trusting relationship with my clients is my top priority. Therapy can feel like talking to a trusted friend, family member, or supportive companion. This is the relationship that I strive to develop with my clients.

My goal is to provide my clients with a safe and empowering space as they explore their life history, identify how experiences are serving or hindering their current goals, and develop strengths and skills that enhance their overall wellness. I have a decade worth of experience in both the inpatient and outpatient setting helping teens and adults navigate a variety of challenges, such as substance abuse, eating disorders, trauma, grief, depression, and a variety of other mood disorders, and am passionate about working with these populations.

I approach therapy through a trauma-informed lens and work collaboratively with my clients to identify goals and skills they feel confident about implementing in their daily lives.

In a session with me, my clients can expect to feel:

* A safe non-judgmental space where you can explore and experience your emotions without fear of how you will be perceived

* A sense of peace and comfort as we identify personal strengths and skills that promote resilience and overall wellness

*Empowerment as we identify action steps towards personal goals

*Empathy, Trust, Patience, and Respect

* Gentle accountability, constructive feedback, and thought-provoking dialogue to encourage personal growth

*A relatable down to earth experience as I am also open to growth and respect that each individual is the expert of their life’s history

* Acceptance and appreciation for diversity

In my free time I enjoy reading fantasy, fiction, and nonfiction books. I also enjoy watching action, comedy and psych thriller films. I have a passion for learning about herbalism and other cultural/holistic forms of healing, listening to music, traveling, spending time with my family, and being a dog mom to my puppy.
